Here are our registries for those that are interested.
We are registered at Colonial Williamsburg for a variety of home goods, 18th century reproductions, and books. Click on the wedding registry tab and then click find registry. You can search with either of our names. Many of the items are Made in America and proceeds help keep Joel in a job!
We are also registered at Amazon for a variety of other household items. The link should take you to our registry, but you can also go to Amazon.com, click on the wish list and search for our registry. You can search by a number of different parameters. Topping our list are a kitchen cart and bookshelves, but there are many other items as well.
You can also make donations in our name to 2 Seeds, a non-profit organization focused on sustainable agriculture in Tanzania. Cait, Layne's sister, spent the last year working with farmers in a small village and we'd like to continue to support the efforts she has made there.
Contributions towards things that are difficult to register for would be great too. We're going to be honeymooning in Charleston after the wedding and would like to be able to visit lots of museums and eat at fancy restaurants. We are also interested in buying antique furniture for the house, including a drop-leaf table, dining chairs, desk and headboard, as well as rugs.
